About the font Petersburg Cyrillic

Petersburg Cyrillic is a book serif with the proportions of classical text faces: moderate contrast, crisp bracketed serifs, a slightly narrow set width and a vertical stress. The preview shows complete Latin and Cyrillic alphabets with lining figures, and the lowercase Cyrillic reads evenly and without oddities.

The name points to St Petersburg and the style suits traditional Russian publishing: novels, academic works, textbooks, essays and periodicals. It works well in print at text sizes, in captions and in dignified headings. It is a calm workhorse, so it will not give much personality to a short, loud headline.
