About the font Petersburg BoldItalic Cyrillic

Petersburg BoldItalic Cyrillic is a bold italic serif with Latin and Cyrillic and a Russian set. The name points to the Cyrillic book-type tradition of the Russian capital. In this weight the strokes are sturdy, the serifs are firm and the slant keeps a text-like regularity. The preview was not examined in detail, and no designer is given in the data.

It works for emphasis, subheadings, captions and quotations inside a text in the regular weight, and for strong short headings in books and periodicals. A whole page of bold italic is heavy, so use it in short stretches.
