About the font Time Roman

Time Roman is a Times-style serif with a narrow, economical set width, moderate contrast, crisp bracketed serifs and a sharp, news-print look. Latin and Cyrillic are both complete, with lining figures and standard punctuation, and the lowercase has a compact, steady rhythm.

The design recalls the workhorse type of newspapers, textbooks and office documents, a style readers recognise at once. It is a sound choice for articles, reports, letters, forms and print layouts at text sizes. It is not an expressive display face, so in big headlines it looks plain.
