About the font Time Roman Bold

Time Roman Bold is a bold serif in the style of Times, the typeface drawn by Stanley Morison and Victor Lardent for The Times of London in 1931, here with Latin and Cyrillic. The strokes are thick with sharp, high-contrast hairlines, the serifs are fine and bracketed, the capitals are narrowish and the lowercase is compact and economical. The figures are lining, strong and clear, and the preview shows complete letters and a regular punctuation set.

It looks like a newspaper headline, reliable, familiar and businesslike. The bold weight works for headlines, subheads, captions, forms, official documents and emphasis in text that uses the regular weight. Used for long continuous text it is heavy, and in very small sizes the thin serifs can break up, so use it for headings and highlights.
