About the font Proun

Proun is a thin, wide, constructivist display face with Cyrillic and Latin: letters made of hairline lines with square, geometric shapes, angular joints and an open construction. Both rows show capitals, and the figures share the same slim, drawn-with-a-ruler look.

The name echoes the Proun compositions of El Lissitzky, the Russian avant-garde artist, and the design has that technical, planar feel. It suits logos, art and architecture posters, titles in tech and design contexts; the hairline strokes disappear at small sizes, so it works only large and on a clean background.
