About the font Minion Cyrillic Semibold Italic

Minion Cyrillic Semibold Italic is the semibold italic of a Minion-style serif with Cyrillic. The slanted forms are calligraphic and compact, with lively curves, a flowing lowercase and swash-like touches in letters such as the ampersand.

Minion was drawn by Robert Slimbach for Adobe in 1990 as a refined text face in the spirit of Renaissance type. The semibold italic is for emphasis inside a book setting, subheads, pull quotes and elegant covers in Latin and Cyrillic.
