About the font Karina Bold

Karina Bold is a bold serif with Latin and Cyrillic and a calligraphic, Albertus-like flavour. The serifs are short, wedge-like and flared, the capitals are wide and stately, and the lowercase has a lively, slightly irregular rhythm with open shapes. Figures are lining and sturdy.

It has a classical but friendly look, like a book title, restaurant menu or a cultural poster. It suits headings, covers, packaging and short paragraphs in Russian or English. The bold weight is strong at large sizes, and for long reading a lighter text face is easier.
