About the font Karina Bold Italic

Karina Bold Italic is a bold slanted serif with Cyrillic and Latin, tagged Decorative. The letters are wide and sturdy, with robust, almost slab-like serifs, solid strokes and a friendly italic slant, a close relative of the heavier Karina Black Rus Italic. The capitals have a curled E with a flourish, and the lowercase is open and easy to read.

The weight is bold but not extreme, so it works for headlines, subheads, posters, packaging and shop signs in English or Russian, and also for short emphasised passages. It combines well with the regular Karina weights in the same family.
