About the font Journal Italic

Journal Italic is a book-style serif italic with Cyrillic, in the manner of Century-type text faces. The capitals are broad and the slant is gentle, the lowercase has moderate contrast and calm, rounded terminals, and the figures are old-fashioned and legible.

It resembles the type of mid-century books and magazines. It works for literary quotations, captions, emphasis within text and elegant articles in Latin and Cyrillic. It has a calm, serious voice and is best for medium sizes.
