About the font JakobCTT Bold

JakobCTT Bold is a bold handwritten face that looks drawn with a thick felt pen or a broad brush. The strokes are lively and slightly irregular, the letters lean and bounce gently, and capitals and lowercase differ in rhythm, which gives text a hand-lettered, personal feel. Figures are rounded and chunky. Cyrillic, Russian and Latin sets are all included, so the same informal voice works across both alphabets.

The tone is friendly, informal and slightly playful, like a hand-painted sign or a note on a fridge. It suits posters, children's content, cafe menus, packaging, social media graphics and short slogans. For long passages the uneven rhythm and heavy strokes slow reading down, so use it in large size for headings and key lines, with plenty of space around it.
