About the font JakobCTT

JakobCTT is a casual handwritten face with Latin and Cyrillic, drawn with a fast marker or reed pen. The strokes are uneven in weight, the letters narrow and slightly slanted, and the baseline jumps a little, which makes it feel quickly jotted down rather than designed; the figures and capitals carry the same sketchy energy.

The lively line suits notes, labels, children's and education material, comic-style captions, cafe boards and informal logos. It stays readable for a few lines at text size, but the dry, irregular stroke makes long passages tiresome.
