About the font FrizQuadrataCTT

FrizQuadrataCTT is a Cyrillic version, under the CTT name, of Friz Quadrata, the 1965 design by Ernst Friz and Victor Caruso. It is a glyphic type: stems flare slightly toward the ends like chiselled letters and there are no true serifs, while capitals are wide and classical in proportion and the lowercase has a calligraphic touch. The preview shows capitals, lowercase, figures and punctuation, and Cyrillic is listed.

The cool, dignified manner is common on wine labels, book titles, restaurants and institutional identities. It reads well at medium and large sizes, and in running text its flared forms give a soft, even rhythm.
