About the font FrizQuadrataCTT BoldItalic

FrizQuadrataCTT BoldItalic is a bold italic cut in the manner of Friz Quadrata, the sturdy flared serif-sans with a roman-inscription feel, here with Latin and Cyrillic. The strokes swell slightly toward their ends and finish in small flat spurs without proper serifs, and the italic is a slanted roman rather than a calligraphic cursive.

The CTT cut is a Cyrillic adaptation from a Russian digital-type tradition, and its warm, assertive voice works for headings, pull quotes, packaging and captions, as well as short passages of emphasised text. It is a weighty design, so use it for emphasis rather than for pages of running text.
