About the font DS Goose

DS Goose is a quirky handwritten display face, credited to David Buck for the English version and Nikolay Dubina for the Russian. The letters are chunky, rounded and slightly uneven, with a bouncing baseline and playful shapes such as a hooked r and a looped g; the lowercase is lively and wide. The preview shows Latin and several punctuation marks are missing, while Cyrillic is listed.

It has a funny, childlike warmth, like a hand-painted sign or a picture-book title. It suits children's content, party invitations, toy and sweet packaging, school posters and cartoon-like headings at a medium or large size. The bouncy rhythm and heavy line make long text tiring, so keep it for short captions.
