About the font CharlemagneC

CharlemagneC is a set of inscriptional capitals in the spirit of Charlemagne: flared, slightly flat-topped letters with wide proportions, sharp serifs and a Roman or early Carolingian flavour. The lowercase is drawn as small capitals, so the text reads in capitals throughout. In the preview the Latin set is complete, while the Cyrillic slots show as empty boxes, so treat it as a Latin face in practice.

It has a monumental, slightly ecclesiastical feel, suited to certificates, wine and bakery labels, historical or fantasy posters, book titles and chapter headings. Because there is no true lowercase, use it for short lines rather than running text.
