About the font Clip Condensed

Clip Condensed by Denis A Serikov is a tall, narrow decorative sans-serif with a constructivist, Art Deco flavour: uniform stroke weight, tight proportions, squared and arched shapes, a high crossbar and a few quirky letterforms such as the angular R and the E with three even arms. The preview shows the capital alphabet repeated, a Latin lowercase drawn like small caps, figures with open forms and a full Cyrillic set in the same style.

The pronounced vertical rhythm gives posters, album covers, theatre and gallery announcements and book jackets a stylish, slightly retro air, with generous letter-spacing. It is built for large display sizes and short phrases, since narrow counters and lookalike letters make long text hard to read. Check ligature-free spacing in words with many verticals, such as those with I, L and T.
