About the font Baskerville Light

Baskerville Light is a light weight of the classic transitional serif in the manner of John Baskerville's eighteenth-century types, with Cyrillic and Latin. The strokes are crisp, the contrast is moderate to high, the serifs are fine and nearly flat, and the round letters are near-circular with a vertical stress. The figures are lining and slim.

The light weight gives a calm, refined, bookish voice, suited to literary texts, invitations, annual reports, museum and gallery materials and elegant headings. It needs good paper or a high-resolution screen, as the thin serifs weaken at very small sizes.
