About the font Bangkok Normal

Bangkok Normal is a flared roman with a Latin look: capitals are wide and open, with strokes that swell toward the ends instead of carrying serifs, and the lowercase is compact with a clear contrast between thick and thin. The figures are lively and a little old-fashioned. Cyrillic is included, so Russian text can be set in the same face.

It carries the feel of mid-century posters, hotel signs and printed menus, and it works best at headline sizes in mixed case. In long paragraphs the flares start to look busy, so keep it to short lines.
