About the font a_BodoniNova Italic

a_BodoniNova Italic is the slanted companion of a Bodoni-style Didone: razor-thin hairlines against strong thick strokes, vertical stress, unbracketed hairline serifs, and an elegant, narrow, sloped lowercase with calligraphic energy. The preview shows the full Latin set, and the categories list Cyrillic and Russian.

The contrast gives it the glamour of fashion magazines, theatre programmes and fine printing, and it suits headlines, pull quotes, luxury and cosmetics branding, invitations, menus and book covers. At small sizes and on screens the hairlines almost disappear, so it needs generous size and a well-printed surface, and it is not advisable for continuous text.
