About the font WindsorElongated_DG

WindsorElongated_DG is a tall, condensed serif in the Windsor manner, a type style from the early twentieth century, with a heavy stroke, strong contrast and bracketed wedge-like serifs. Here the forms are stretched upward, so the capitals are narrow and imposing. It has lowercase, figures and a Cyrillic alphabet; some punctuation in the preview is missing.

It has a vintage, theatrical, slightly Wild West or Art Nouveau poster feel. It suits titles, signs, book covers, labels and short advertising lines at a medium or large size. The dense narrow letters and gaps in punctuation make it a poor choice for long text.
