About the font WienLight

WienLight is a light, narrow Art Nouveau sans with Latin and Cyrillic, with thin, even strokes and tall, slightly curved forms in the Viennese style. The letters are slender, with a few quirky details such as a long-legged R and softly rounded joins, and the lowercase has a modest x-height and graceful ascenders. Figures are slim and elegant.

The look recalls early twentieth-century posters, cafe signs and Secession-era graphics. It suits titles, logos, invitations, menus and short headlines in Russian or English at a medium or large size. The thin line fades at small sizes, and the narrow forms tire the eye in long text.
