About the font VNI-HLThuphap

VNI-HLThuphap is an expressive brush-calligraphy face from the VNI collection, whose name refers to Vietnamese "thư pháp" calligraphy: rough, dry-ink strokes with ragged edges, uneven thickness and quick, energetic movement. The lowercase is slanted and loosely joined, and some symbols appear as empty squares. The Latin alphabet is covered.

It carries the feel of ink-brush lettering, with a spontaneous, artistic character that suits posters, book covers, tea and restaurant branding, art events and short quotations at a large size. The rough texture blurs at small sizes, and long text in it is hard to read.
