About the font Vinyl George

Vinyl George is a distressed serif display face: chunky, slightly rough capitals with the look of worn, scratched print, hairline scratches and ink specks around the letters, and a lowercase in the same textured style. Figures are small and rough, and many punctuation marks in the preview are sparse or broken.

It suits record covers, vintage-style posters, album titles and anything that should look like a scuffed old vinyl sleeve or a faded newspaper masthead. The texture is noisy, so use large sizes and keep text short. Latin only, categorised as Art and Decorative.
