About the font Uk_Caslon Bold Italic

Uk_Caslon Bold Italic is a wide, flowing italic serif in the Caslon tradition, with high contrast between thick and hairline strokes, a generous slant and long, elegant sweeps on letters such as the Q, z and y. The proportions are extended and the lowercase is open and calligraphic, the figures are old-style and graceful, and Cyrillic is covered together with Latin. In the preview the exclamation mark shows as an empty box.

The feeling is that of fine book printing and refined publishing: invitations, poetry, quotations, menus and magazine pull quotes. It carries emphasis well within roman text, and at larger sizes the swashes become visible. The thin hairlines suffer at very small sizes, and the missing exclamation mark should be checked before use.
