About the font Uk_Bruskovaya

Uk_Bruskovaya is a bold slab-style serif with bracketed serifs, moderate contrast and fairly condensed capitals. The name comes from the Russian word for slab serifs, bruskovaya, literally "bar-like", which describes the sturdy block serifs. In the preview the circumflex "^" shows as an empty square; Cyrillic is included.

The feel is that of an old newspaper headline, a typewritten notice or a village shop sign. It is at its best in titles and short lines at a medium to large size; in small sizes the heavy slabs close up the counters, and the missing symbol should be kept in mind.
