About the font TypeWriter

TypeWriter is a light typewriter face: slab serifs, a monoline stroke, simple letters of even width and the faint irregularity of an old mechanical machine. Capitals, lowercase, figures and punctuation are complete, and Latin and Cyrillic are both included. In the preview the weight is thin, closer to a lightly struck key than to a heavy ink print.

It carries the flavour of typed manuscripts, reports, scripts, letters and office documents, and gives text a documentary, sincere or nostalgic tone. It works for notes, film or book titles, forms, retro menus, code-like captions and web text in a vintage key. The even width and thin line slow reading in long paragraphs and fade on busy backgrounds, so keep it for short passages.
