About the font TimesET Italic

TimesET Italic is the italic of TimesET, a Times-style serif that includes Cyrillic. The slanted letters are narrow and light on their feet, with the fast, calligraphic stroke typical of Times italics, sharp serifs and strong contrast. The capitals lean at the same angle, and the lowercase has a compact, flowing build.

It is made for emphasis, quotations, captions, foreign words and book titles in Russian and Latin-script text next to the upright cut. Because the Times shape is economical in width, the italic also saves space in long documents, dense layouts and footnotes.
