About the font Poster Cyr

Poster Cyr is an ultra-bold Didone-style poster serif with Latin and Cyrillic, the type of face used on posters and newspaper headlines. The capitals are very wide and heavy, with razor-thin hairline serifs and a huge contrast against the thick vertical stems; the lowercase keeps the same heavy-thin modulation with tight, vertical axes, and figures are bold.

The contrast is its calling card, and it suits headlines, fashion and magazine covers, posters, packaging and short titles at large sizes. The hairlines are very thin and disappear at small sizes, so avoid body text, and set it big on a clean, light background.
