About the font Poster Bodoni Win95BT

Poster Bodoni Win95BT is a heavy Didone display face in the manner of Poster Bodoni: extreme contrast between thick vertical stems and hairline serifs and joins, a tall, glossy build and tight, compact capitals. Latin and Cyrillic are covered, with a Russian set, and the larger file size (about 123 Kb) suggests a fuller character set. No designer is given in the data, and the Win95BT name points to the Bitstream version bundled with older Windows software.

It carries the voice of fashion magazines, theatre posters and classic book covers. It suits large headlines, mastheads, titles and logos at a generous size, where the thin lines stay visible. At small sizes the hairlines vanish, and long text becomes hard to read, so use it for display only.
