About the font Minion Cyrillic Bold Italic

Minion Cyrillic Bold Italic is the bold italic of a Minion-style text serif, with Latin and Cyrillic. The slanted letters are calligraphic and compact, with crisp, pointed serifs, moderate contrast, a lively cursive rhythm and a classical, Renaissance-inspired feel. The bold weight gives a firm, dark colour, and the figures are lining and sturdy.

It is a refined, bookish voice for emphasis in text, subheadings, captions, quotations and short headlines in Russian or English, and it pairs naturally with its roman and regular italic cousins. As a heavy italic it is best for short stretches, as continuous bold italic text is tiring to read.
