About the font Miniature Italic

Miniature Italic is a calm book italic with Cyrillic, with old-style proportions like the Garamond tradition. The letters are narrow and lightly slanted, with small x-height, thin strokes and pointed terminals, and the capitals are only slightly slanted.

Its delicate texture suits poetry, epigraphs, quotations, captions and the emphasis passages inside a book set in a matching roman. It looks weak at very small sizes because of the thin strokes, so use it at text size and above.
