About the font Margarita script

Margarita script by Gophmann A.L. is an extremely fine, outline-style copperplate script: the slanted letters are drawn as thin double lines with a hollow centre, giving an engraved, filigree effect. The capitals have long, looping flourishes, the lowercase connects in a smooth line, and the figures and symbols follow the same slender slant. Cyrillic, Russian and Latin sets are included, and it is listed among handwritten fonts. The file is large, about 139 Kb, because of the double-line construction.

The delicate engraved quality suits wedding invitations, certificates, diplomas, luxury and perfume labels, greeting cards, and exquisite monograms. It needs a very large size, dark ink on a clean light background, and mixed case, since the fine double lines blur at small size and on busy or textured backgrounds. Use it for names and short phrases, never for body text.
