About the font LegendeC Plain

LegendeC Plain is a flowing calligraphic script written with a broad pen at a slant, with thick-and-thin strokes, pointed terminals and a lively, slightly irregular rhythm that looks like quick chancery handwriting. The capitals have gentle flourishes, the lowercase is narrow, with long ascenders and descenders, and many letters connect or lean into each other. The preview shows complete Latin capitals, lowercase, figures and punctuation, and Cyrillic and Russian sets are included. The file is large, about 147 Kb, because of its many contextual details.

It suits invitations, certificates, diplomas, greeting cards, book titles, menus, wine labels and elegant headlines with a handwritten, old-world feel. It reads best in mixed case at a medium or large size, and short passages, since the lively joins and thin strokes tire the eye in long text and all-capital lines break the rhythm.
