About the font Lazurski Bold

Lazurski Bold is a bold serif in the old-style manner: bracketed serifs, moderate stroke contrast, a small x-height and sturdy lowercase with calligraphic details in letters like g, k and y. The preview shows capitals, lowercase, figures and punctuation, and the font is tagged as supporting Cyrillic alongside Latin.

The drawing recalls the book faces of the Venetian and Garalde tradition, only set darker, so it reads as a warm and bookish voice. It works well for chapter heads, book covers, magazine headlines and short pull quotes. For long continuous text the heavy weight tires the eye, so keep it to larger sizes.
