About the font Kudriashov Bold

Kudriashov Bold is a heavy text serif with Cyrillic and Latin, drawn with strong contrast between thick stems and fine hairlines, bracketed serifs and a wide, solid stance. The capitals are stately and the lowercase has a moderate x-height, in the manner of the old-style and transitional faces of Russian printing.

The dark, compact bold works for headings, book and magazine titles, subheads and pull quotes in Russian and Latin-script languages. It is clear and traditional, with a literary tone, and it combines well with its lighter weights in a text setting.
