About the font Kladez Plain:001.001

Kladez Plain:001.001 is a heavy old-style serif with soft, rounded terminals, with Cyrillic support. The letters are wide and fat, with bracketed bulbous serifs, moderate contrast and a generous x-height, which give a warm, cushioned look similar to the chunky display serifs of the 1920s and 1970s. The figures are round and bold, and the lowercase is friendly and easy to tell apart.

The mood is cozy, appetizing and slightly nostalgic. It suits headlines, posters, packaging for food, confectionery, cafe and bakery signs, book covers, labels and invitations in Latin and Cyrillic. At this weight and width it takes a lot of room and tires the eye in long paragraphs, so use it for headings and short bold text.
