About the font KabelCTT Ultra

KabelCTT Ultra is an extra-heavy geometric sans in the spirit of Rudolf Koch's Kabel of 1927: near-circular bowls, a tall single-storey a in the lowercase, short ascenders and a distinctive diagonal bar in the e. The weight is black and compact, with tight counters, and Latin and Cyrillic are both included.

It has a bold, retro-modern character, recalling posters and packaging of the 1920s to 1950s. It is strong for headlines, logos, signs and short statements at a large size. In long text the ultra weight and tight counters make the lines heavy.
