About the font KabelCTT Book Bold

KabelCTT Book Bold is the bold weight of a Cyrillic adaptation of Kabel, the geometric-humanist sans serif drawn by Rudolf Koch in 1927, with Cyrillic and Latin. The letters mix circles and straight lines, with a low crossbar on the e, pointed apexes, a tapering stroke and a clear, slightly quirky character. The figures are strong and clean.

Kabel gives text a lively, slightly old-world modernist feel, and the bold weight works for headlines, posters, packaging, signage and magazine titles. In long paragraphs the bold weight is best kept for emphasis.
