About the font GaramondBookCTT BoldItalic

GaramondBookCTT BoldItalic is a heavy, fully italic Garamond-style face with Cyrillic and Latin. The letters are narrow and bracketed, leaning with a calligraphic energy, and the thick strokes are very dark against thin hairlines. The figures are lining and clear, and a few signs in the preview are shown as empty boxes.

It keeps the warm, bookish feel of the old-style Garamond italic but with far more weight, which makes it an emphasis face for text in the same family. It works for quotations, subheadings, captions and short bold phrases in books and magazines, rather than for continuous reading, where the strong slant tires.
