About the font Decoder

Decoder is a dot-matrix LCD face by Andreas Nylin: every letter is built from small square or round dots arranged in a coarse grid, as on an electronic display. The lowercase repeats the capital forms, the figures are drawn in a seven-segment-like manner and the punctuation is partial, with a few odd glyphs. It belongs to the LCD fonts, and only Latin letters are listed.

The look is that of scoreboards, calculators, vending machines, retro tech and sci-fi interfaces. It works for short words, numbers, countdowns and banner details. The dotted structure needs a large size to avoid noise, and long text becomes hard to follow, so use it as a decorative or technical accent.
