About the font Current

Current is a slender, stencil-like art font with Latin and Cyrillic, drawn with thin monoline strokes that break at joins and curves, so each letter looks assembled from separate arcs and bars. The proportions are tall and light, the capitals have geometric shapes with high crossbars, and the figures share the same broken, airy construction.

The effect is of an electric current or a thin wire, with an Art Deco, slightly futuristic elegance. It suits logos, posters, fashion and tech titles, packaging and short headlines at a large size, on a plain background. The gaps and thin lines weaken at small sizes, so it is not for text.
