About the font Cry Uncial

Cry Uncial is a calligraphic uncial face in the Celtic and early-medieval manuscript tradition, listed among gothic fonts. The letters are rounded and broad with a pen-written feel, curved strokes ending in small wedges, and capitals and lowercase share one majuscule-like alphabet, so the lowercase looks like smaller capitals. The figures are written in the same manner, and a few symbols are simplified.

It evokes fantasy novels, medieval and Celtic themes, role-playing games, tavern menus, folk music posters and storybook titles. It suits short titles and passages at a medium or large size, where the pen character shows. All letters are capital-like, so long text is tiring, and punctuation is sparse, so keep it to titles and short lines.
