About the font Biergarten

Biergarten by Daniel Zadorozny is a heavy blackletter, a Fraktur-style gothic with broken strokes, sharp diamond-like terminals and dense, compact letters. The preview shows lowercase forms in both rows, and the figures are fat and slightly archaic; some symbols look unusual. Latin only.

The name means a beer garden, and the look fits German pubs, breweries, beer labels and medieval or heavy-metal themes, from the Gothic fonts category. It suits short titles, labels, signs and posters at a large size. Capitals are hard to read in gothic type, so avoid setting words in all caps and keep text short.
