About the font Bauhaus Bold BT

Bauhaus Bold BT is a bold geometric sans-serif in the Bauhaus manner, with letters built from circles, arcs and straight lines, a single-storey a, a high crossbar on the e and a strict, modernist feel. The strokes are even and heavy, the round letters are almost perfect circles, and there is a slight quirk in the lowercase that gives it character. The preview shows complete capitals, lowercase, figures and punctuation in a Latin set, and it is listed among decorative fonts.

The look recalls 1920s and 1930s avant-garde posters and, through later revivals, 1970s graphic design. It suits headlines, logos, posters, school and art-themed material, and short punchy phrases at a large size. The heavy round shapes crowd each other in long lines and at small sizes, so keep it for display. Because it is a commercial-style Bitstream release, check the license before using it commercially.
