About the font Baskerville Win95BT

Baskerville Win95BT is the Bitstream version of Baskerville, the 18th-century transitional serif by John Baskerville, in the Roman weight. The contrast is moderate to high, the serifs are fine and sharp, the capitals are graceful and slightly wide, and the numerals are lining and even. Cyrillic is included alongside Latin and the lowercase is open and clear.

It carries a calm, dignified bookish mood, suitable for literary text, essays, certificates, formal letters and invitations. It looks best at moderate and large sizes on a good paper background. In very small sizes the hairlines turn thin, and on screens with low resolution the delicate serifs lose their sharpness.
