About the font Arkhive

Arkhive is a slender serif with Latin and Cyrillic, in the manner of the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau lettering used on early twentieth-century book covers. The capitals are tall, narrow and slightly flared, with fine bracket-less serifs, and the lowercase is compact with a small x-height and tight spacing; the preview shows only a few punctuation marks.

It has a literary, archival feel, as if a title from a library catalogue or an old periodical, and suits book covers, museum and exhibition graphics, wine and craft labels and headings. In long text the narrow shapes and small x-height tire the eye, so use it for titles and short passages.
