About the font Aardvark Normal

Aardvark Normal is an ultra-heavy slab serif with Cyrillic and Latin: massive, square-built letters with thick bracketed serifs, very low contrast and tiny counters. The lowercase is sturdy and compact, and the figures are as dense as the letters.

It is a loud, poster-like face for headlines, banners, signs, packaging and logos, with a newspaper-advertising punch. Keep it at a large size and give it space; in small sizes the counters close up, and in paragraphs the black mass becomes oppressive.
