About the font a_Simpler Bold

a_Simpler Bold in this version is a heavy angular sans with Cyrillic and Latin, built from straight stems, flat tops and chamfered corners instead of true curves, so even the bowls look like rounded rectangles. The lowercase repeats the capital forms, and the preview shows both rows in capitals. The figures are wide and bold, and the punctuation is complete.

The stencil-like cuts give it a utilitarian, military feel, close to ammunition-box lettering, hardware brands, sports gear and game logos. It makes a strong word-mark at large size. In running text the dense rectangular forms leave little air between lines, so give plenty of leading and keep the copy short.
