About the font a_RubricaXtCn

a_RubricaXtCn is an extra-condensed bold grotesque with Cyrillic and Latin. The letters are very tall and narrow with straight, parallel sides, tight round forms, short horizontal strokes and almost no gaps between the strokes. Lowercase is large and compact, the figures are equally tall and narrow, and the punctuation is complete. The look is like poster headlines and sports titles.

It works where height is available and width is not: headlines, posters, street signs, labels on tall packaging, infographic headings and magazine sections, in Russian as well as Latin. Set tight and large for impact. The squeezed counters clog at small sizes, and long text in this width is exhausting.
