About the font a_Assuan

a_Assuan Medium is a heavy, condensed slab-serif sans: tall, tight letters with squared slab terminals, flat serifs and compact counters, in a medium-heavy weight. The preview shows capitals, lowercase, figures and punctuation, and Cyrillic is listed under the serif categories.

The solid, mechanical look recalls Egyptian-style newspaper headlines, workshop signs and sports posters, so it suits headlines, packaging, signs and posters, as well as bold labels. The narrow, dense shapes tire the eye in long text, so use it for headings and short lines.
